Privacy Policy

Axon operates Weatherly. This policy explains what Weatherly collects, why we need it, which companies process it for us, and how to ask for access or deletion.

Information we collect

Discord account and server data

When you sign in, Discord provides account details such as your user ID, username, display name, avatar reference, and the servers you can manage. Weatherly also records server IDs, names, ownership and permission snapshots, selected channel and role IDs, bot-installation state, and configuration needed to check whether an action is allowed.

World and delivery data

We store world names, fictional dates, calendar and weather settings, generated weather history, overrides, feed settings, scheduled runs, Discord message IDs, delivery results, and audit records. Support and safety records may include a correlation ID, timestamps, bounded error details, and operator notes.

Support tickets and suggestions

Dashboard support tickets and suggestions may contain the server, world, or feed you select; your description and replies; and up to three PNG, JPG, or WebP screenshots. Support tickets may also include sanitized configuration details when you choose to attach them. These private conversations are copied to a Discord forum that only Weatherly operators can access. If Discord notifications are enabled, operator replies may also be sent to your direct messages.

Billing records

Stripe collects payment methods, billing addresses, tax information, and other Checkout details. Weatherly receives and stores customer, Checkout Session, subscription, product, price, invoice, status, and webhook event identifiers. We don't receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes.

Device, session, and security data

When you visit the site, Weatherly and Cloudflare may process your IP address, browser headers, request timing, route, coarse security signals, and rate-limit state. Weatherly uses secure session cookies and stores a hash of the session token. We don't use advertising cookies.

What we don't collect

Weatherly doesn't read or archive ordinary Discord conversations. It sends generated posts to channels you choose and stores the Discord identifiers needed to confirm or update those posts. Don't put private message content, credentials, card data, or other sensitive information into Weatherly fields or support requests.

How we use information

• Authenticate users and check current Discord permissions.
• Generate fictional calendars and weather, run schedules, and deliver configured Discord posts.
• Provide trials and paid server entitlements, process subscription changes, and prevent billing mistakes.
• Protect accounts, enforce rate limits, investigate failures, prevent abuse, and keep audit records.
• Answer support requests, maintain backups, measure service health, and meet legal obligations.

Why we process it

We process information to provide the service you requested, perform our contract with paid customers, protect Weatherly and its users, comply with law, and handle consent where law requires it. You can remove the bot or stop using the site, though we may keep records that we still need for billing, fraud prevention, security, disputes, or legal compliance.

Who receives information

We share only what each provider needs to perform its job:

• Discord handles sign-in, server membership, commands, channels, roles, and messages sent by the bot.
• Stripe hosts Checkout and the Customer Portal, processes payments, issues invoices, and calculates tax when enabled.
• Cloudflare hosts the public site and Worker, stores application data, filters abusive traffic, and runs delivery jobs.
• Monitoring providers, when enabled, receive redacted error and performance data so we can diagnose faults. We configure them not to receive tokens, payment details, or Discord message content.

We may also disclose information when law requires it, to protect people or the service, during a business sale or reorganization, or with your direction. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

We keep active account, world, feed, schedule, delivery, entitlement, and audit data while the server uses Weatherly. Free and Plus plans have different visible weather-history limits, but a visibility limit isn't the same as deletion. We retain billing records as needed for accounting, tax, fraud, and dispute handling.

Resolved support tickets and closed suggestions may be reopened for seven days. Searchable conversation history is retained for two years after resolution or closure so Weatherly can keep context and maintain an operator audit trail. Sensitive diagnostic snapshots and screenshots expire after 90 days. Minimal redacted retention and deletion events may remain after the conversation itself is removed.

After a verified deletion request, we remove or de-identify data that we no longer need. Encrypted backups, security records, and webhook replay records may remain for a limited recovery or compliance period before normal expiration. Discord and Stripe control their own copies under their policies.

Security

Weatherly encrypts stored Discord credentials, hashes session tokens, restricts administrative access, verifies signed Stripe webhooks and Discord interactions, and redacts secrets from application logs. No online service can promise perfect security. Report a suspected account or data exposure through support without including the secret itself.

International processing

Axon operates from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from where you live.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information associated with your Weatherly account or Discord server. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a denied privacy request. We may need to verify your Discord identity and server authority before acting.

Use the support page to make a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Removing Weatherly from a Discord server stops future bot activity there, but it doesn't by itself prove that the person requesting deletion owns the stored data.

Children

Weatherly isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Discord's age rules still apply. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to these rules, contact support.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Weatherly or its providers change. We will revise the effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the site, dashboard, Discord, or another suitable channel.
