Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Weatherly, a Discord calendar and weather service operated by Axon. By signing in, installing the bot, starting a trial, or buying Plus, you agree to them.

Who may use Weatherly

You must follow Discord's terms and be legally able to accept a contract where you live. If you haven't reached the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must accept these terms for you. You may act for a Discord server only when its owner or authorized managers have given you permission.

Your account and Discord server

Weatherly uses Discord for sign-in and permission checks. You remain responsible for your Discord account, the people you authorize, the channels and roles you select, and activity performed through your session. Tell us through the support page if you believe someone gained access without permission.

Discord server owners control billing. A manager may configure Weatherly when Discord permissions allow it, but only the current server owner may start a trial, buy Plus, open the Stripe billing portal, or cancel a subscription.

What Weatherly provides

Weatherly maintains fictional dates, generates repeatable weather, schedules updates, and posts configured messages to Discord. Simulation output is fictional. Don't rely on it for real weather, safety decisions, travel, agriculture, emergency planning, or any other real-world purpose.

We may change or remove features to keep the service secure, comply with platform rules, or correct faulty behavior. We may also limit or pause a feature if it threatens Weatherly, Discord, or other users.

Acceptable use

Don't use Weatherly to break the law, harass people, distribute harmful material, evade Discord controls, probe accounts or systems without permission, overload the service, resell access without written approval, or misrepresent Weatherly messages as real emergency information. Don't upload secrets or payment-card details into world names, notes, support requests, or other Weatherly fields.

Free, Plus, and trials

Plans apply to one Discord server at a time. Free includes the limits shown on Weatherly's pricing screen. Plus raises world, feed, and visible-history limits for the subscribed server; it doesn't transfer to another server or follow the purchaser to a server they don't own.

An eligible owner may start one no-card 14-day Plus trial per server. We may deny or end a trial when we detect abuse, repeated attempts to bypass the one-trial limit, or a loss of server ownership.

Charges, taxes, and renewal

Plus costs the amount and cadence shown in Stripe Checkout. Prices use U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless Checkout says otherwise. Stripe processes payment and may calculate tax from the billing information you provide.

A paid subscription renews automatically each month or year until the server owner cancels it. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to charge the selected payment method at purchase and at each renewal. Weatherly grants Plus only after verified Stripe records confirm the subscription.

Cancellation, failed payments, and refunds

The server owner may cancel through Stripe's Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and Plus remains available until then. We don't provide routine prorated refunds or credits for unused time. Completed payments are non-refundable except when the law requires a refund.

If renewal fails, Weatherly may provide a seven-day grace period. Plus can end when that period expires without payment recovery. Stripe may retry the charge and send billing notices according to the settings attached to the subscription.

Downgrades and ownership changes

Downgrading doesn't immediately delete paid configuration or older history. Weatherly keeps the oldest world and the first eligible feeds active within Free limits; extra resources become read-only and stop scheduling or posting. History outside the Free visibility window stays hidden and can return after a later upgrade, subject to our retention practices.

If Discord reports a new server owner, we may mark the subscription for ownership review and schedule it to cancel at period end. The former purchaser keeps the paid period they already bought. Contact support if both owners need an earlier transfer.

Third-party services

Weatherly depends on Discord, Stripe, Cloudflare, and other service providers described in our Privacy Policy. Their outages, account decisions, and platform changes can affect Weatherly. Your use of those services also follows their own terms.

Service availability

We work to keep schedules and delivery reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted access or delivery at an exact instant. Discord permissions, deleted channels, rate limits, network failures, maintenance, and events outside our control can delay or prevent a post. Weatherly may retry or reconcile uncertain deliveries.

Ownership

Axon owns Weatherly's software, branding, and supplied artwork. You keep rights to names, descriptions, notes, settings, and other material you submit. You give us a limited license to store, process, display, and send that material only as needed to operate and support Weatherly.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Weatherly and remove the bot at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, nonpayment, or conduct that harms the service or its users. Terms concerning payments already owed, ownership, warranty limits, liability, and disputes continue after termination.

Warranty and liability limits

Weatherly is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law permits, Axon disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law permits, Axon won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost data; missed Discord posts; or harm caused by relying on fictional weather. Our total liability for a claim related to Weatherly won't exceed the amount you paid for the affected server during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law and disputes

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, contact us through support and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in Texas will handle disputes that the parties can't resolve informally.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the site, dashboard, Discord, or another reasonable channel. Continuing to use Weatherly after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
