Worlds & weather
Core weather and automatic posting are available on Free.
What belongs to a world?
Section titled “What belongs to a world?”A world has its own name, fictional date, weather settings, and Discord feeds. Select the world in the dashboard before changing its settings.
Free supports one world per server. Plus supports up to five. See plan limits.
Choose the climate and tone
Section titled “Choose the climate and tone”Climate influences the kind of weather your world produces. The setup starters include temperate, coastal, desert, arctic, and tropical settings.
Hemisphere affects the seasonal context. Temperature units control whether messages use Celsius or Fahrenheit. The starter forms also offer realistic, dramatic, and supernatural weather tones.
Choose settings that match the place your characters live. You can refine them after setup.
Saved weather stays consistent
Section titled “Saved weather stays consistent”Weatherly keeps a canonical forecast for each generated roleplay day. Viewing that day again does not reroll the weather.
Post now publishes the current day; it does not mean “generate a different forecast.” Advance the roleplay date when you intend to move the story forward.
Reading a forecast
Section titled “Reading a forecast”Posts can include temperature, conditions, precipitation, wind, and a daily outlook. A day’s weather has morning, afternoon, evening, and night periods.
The following is an illustrative scene, not a live forecast:
Morning fog hangs over the coast. By afternoon, rain reaches the harbor and the wind strengthens.
Use the forecast as shared context for roleplay. Weatherly describes fictional conditions; it is not a real-world weather warning service.
Change where weather appears
Section titled “Change where weather appears”Configure destination channels and whether a message includes weather or calendar content in Feeds.
