Terms you’ll see

Term	Meaning
World	A fictional setting with its own calendar, weather, and feeds
Roleplay date	The current date inside the story
Day number	A position in the world’s timeline, not a day of the month
Feed	A connection from a world to a Discord destination
Posting time	The real-world local time used by the schedule
Advancement interval	How often the scheduled calendar advancement happens
Climate	The weather setting used for a world or region
Region	A location within a world with its own weather context
Canonical weather	The saved weather used when that roleplay day is viewed again
Shard	A Discord gateway connection responsible for a group of servers
Heartbeat	A recent report from a running gateway process
Entitlement	The plan and access currently assigned to a Discord server
